General description of the collection: The Mrs. Charles Cyktor photograph collection illustrates the American Red Cross service of Mrs. Cyktor during WWII. She served at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana, in 1941-1942 and at Tenby, Wales, in 1944 and 1945, both locations being represented with activity photos. She apparently visited Northern Ireland, as there are numerous picture postcards and a set of color scenery prints from there. There is a photo of her wearing the uniform of a U.S. Army Hostess, ca. 1955. There are several photos of American Red Cross staff members also about 1955. In addition, there are several photos of U.S. Air Force personnel stocking rainbow trout, ca. 1955.
